S.B.S engineered solutions undertakes to identify, assess, eliminate, prevent or reduce, to a level as low as reasonably practicable, any Health and Safety hazards and risks to its employees, contractors or the public that may arise as a result of its operations.

To achieve this, S.B.S engineered solutions is committed, and will ensure its employees and contractors committed to: 

  • Complying with applicable regulatory Health & Safety requirements and conditions of licenses under which we operate.
  • Managing hazards and risks of any activities in our business that could cause injury or illness to people, damage to property or unacceptable impacts on the community.
  • Assisting all employees and contractors to meet their Occupational Health & Safety obligations by ensuring creation of a sustainable zero incident workplace.

We will demonstrate this commitment by: 

  • Clearly defining accountabilities for implementing processes to achieve this Commitment.
  • Integrating Health & Safety management systems, work procedures and practices into the planning and operation of all S.B.S engineered solutions activities.
  • Providing adequate resources, including trained, competent and appropriately supervised personnel to enable us to identify and control Health & Safety hazards and risks in our business.
  • Ensuring that employees, contractors, communities, suppliers, customers, authorities, and other stakeholders are informed of relevant Health & Safety matters and that we are fully aware of their concerns, if any.
  • Measuring, monitoring and reviewing Health & Safety performance, as part of our routine management reporting and review processes.
  • Ensuring that the opportunity is taken to learn from our own performance and external developments so that we can continuously improve Health & Safety performance.
  • Establishing and effectively implementing systems for the purchase, supply and contracting of goods or services that is consistent with these management principles.
  • Applying proper incident management practices to Health & Safety related incidents and supporting the full recovery of personnel in the event of work related injury or illness through prompt treatment and active rehabilitation programs.
